A veneer is crafted from a piece of porcelain, which is carefully shaped to fit over the top of a tooth. A veneer is a cosmetic solution for teeth that have sustained moderate or severe cosmetic damage, though it also has restorative qualities, protecting a weak tooth from further potential damage.
Wherever possible, we advocate for the most conservative treatments for cosmetically restoring your teeth. We may advise composite bonding for minor cosmetic imperfections, whilst veneers are best suited to more extensive and obvious defects.
Veneers are beautifully made and use porcelain, which is well-known for being one of the best materials for re-creating a tooth. However, composite bonding is a less-invasive process and will result in a natural-looking result.
